Animal Logic

Animal Logic is one of the world's most accomplished digital studios producing award winning, ground breaking and trail blazing animation, visual effects and design.

Established in 1991 when lunches were long and to buy a graphics computer meant to mortgage one’s house, Animal Logic has been at the forefront of digital content production.

From our humble beginnings as a 10 person enterprise to one of the world’s most prolific digital studios, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with some revolutionary directors and producers to create some spectacular and memorable imagery on our journey.

After our early success with leading advertising agencies and television commercial directors, we made the leap into feature films, getting a start on films such as Babe, Mouse Hunt, Face Off and The Matrix. Since then, we’ve continued to attract audiences with our visual effects and animation in films like Moulin Rouge, House of Flying Daggers, 300 and The Great Gatsby, and with our dancing animated penguins in Happy Feet and formidable fighting owls in Legend of the Guardians. It's safe to say we're pretty good at animating birds now!  Most recently Animal Logic Animation moved on to dinosaurs in Walking with Dinosaurs 3D and LEGO® minifigs in The LEGO® Movie!

In 2012 Fuel VFX, known for their work on Cowboys & Aliens, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Avengers and Prometheus became the newest member of the Animal Logic Family.

Since then, we've consolidated our VFX division to include Fuel VFX, and our new VFX division Animal Logic VFX incorporates the wealth of talent and creativity that is abundant in the two brands under one roof. With a combined talent pool and technical expertise, the future looks bright, and well, we're excited.

The Animal Logic VFX team recently completed work on The Great Gatsby, Iron Man 3, Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Rover, and is currently in production on Unbroken, due for release in 2014.

We also recently opened our Animal Logic Entertainment office in Los Angeles which is where our feature film development team is located. They're a creative and passionate bunch, focusing on developing an eclectic slate of feature films stamped with the visual and technical excellence that has become the hallmark of our work.

Together the Animal Logic Family is committed to innovation, technical and creative excellence, and most importantly a collaborative and storytelling culture with a unique voice.  We have BIG dreams!

We have offices located at Fox Studios Sydney and at the world famous Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California.

A Squared Entertainment

We are a group of talented, creative, fun-loving "adults" who have dedicated our lives to making kids laugh and learn (because we love to laugh and learn!).

After producing thousands of cartoons and being a part of the creation of everything from theme parks to cruise ships, we created A Squared Entertainment with a new mission in mind: content with a purpose. Entertainment for kids that is as enriching as it is entertaining. And we have some pretty terrific people who have joined us, like Warren Buffett, Stan Lee, and even Thomas Edison (well, sort of!).

We create and produce original entertainment for kids. We also acquire and represent incredible properties we find, from all over the world. We produce entertainment in all formats: for TV, online, mobile, and whatever cool new device that gets invented next. And then we publish books, and create toys and games and all kinds of other fun products for kids. All grounded in entertainment, discovery, and fun!
