Nelvana

Founded in 1971, Nelvana is one of the world's leading international producers and distributors of children's animated content.

Nelvana develops, produces and distributes animated content, and is part of the Corus Kids Television entertainment portfolio. The Nelvana Studio operates out of a state-of-the-art digital animation production facility in Toronto. Nelvana’s library now has well over 4,000 half-hour animated episodes including such well known properties as Babar, Franklin, Rolie Polie Olie, and Berenstain Bears.

The studio offers animation solutions through a digital pipeline using both Toonboom's Harmony and Adobe Flash CS5. With the senior team’s combined experience and reputation, Jam Filled provides excellent work that is done on time, on budget and above expectations.

Global Mechanic

Global Mechanic Media is an award-winning interdisciplinary creative studio headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. It is known for creating various digital and traditional media, feature and short films, television series, commercials, games, installations, interactive experiences, titles, and original photography using many different techniques including Flash animation and stop motion.[citation needed] It was founded in 2000 by Creative Director, Bruce Alcock. Cuppa Coffee Studio

When I started this company my goal was to not only produce quality animated television, but to also create an environment that would nurture creativity and encourage excellence in all areas of production.

Just over twenty years later, CUPPA COFFEE STUDIOS in now the largest full-service stop-motion facility in the world with a newly expanded 2D flash department. We are producing on average three new series a year and are now in development on several feature films. We have won countless awards and redefined the art of production from both the creative and logistical perspective. We have also launched SAUCER SOUND, a brand new top-quality sound recording and mix studio. Animagic

What began as a three member group with nothing but a belief in our potential to create great animation, is now a eleven year old studio with a sterling reputation for the quality of our work.

From graphics, animation and special effects in commercials, corporate films, feature films, titles for film and television, visualization and pre-production design for both ads and features, to illustration and design, children’s books, educational textbooks, the studio has expanded its creative outreach to many different avenues often setting new standards of excellence.

The Studio
It was in 1997 that the three founder directors started with the belief that an animation studio needed to be a place where we searched for our artistic and national identity through this amazing art form. We got together without the slightest backing or support and no infrastructure to speak of. Today, our greatest sense of satisfaction stems from the fact that we never compromised our principles in the most trying of situations. We worked the razors edge balancing our desire to pour our souls out in our films while running the studio doing commercial work which paid the bills with an equal amount of sincerity & zeal.

Start Anima

Start Desenhos Animados is a Brazilian animation studio established in 1966 in São Paulo. It was founded by animator Walbercy Ribas whose aim is to produce high quality animation in commercials and films.

Start is one of the most prominent animation studios in Latin America. Since 1966 the studio has produced more than 2,000 TV commercials for major companies around the world - such as Coca-Cola, Sharp, Johnson & Johnson and Nestlé - and has produced advertisements for USA, Chile, Portugal, Venezuela, England, Argentina and Mexico. For its works, Start holds the most prestigious trophies of the advertising world, such as Venice Lion and Cannes Lion.

In 2001, Start concluded the feature film O Grilo Feliz ("The Happy Cricket"), which received two prizes in international festivals. "The Happy Cricket" has been sold to more than 14 countries including USA, Russia, Mexico, China and Portugal.

In 2009, a 3D sequel was produced, called O Grilo Feliz e os Insetos Gigantes ("The Happy Cricket and the Giants Insects"). The following year, it won Academia Brasileira de Cinema's prize for best animation and best children's feature film.

ABOUT THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF ANIMATION

Since forming in 2003, The People's Republic of Animation (PRA) has produced award winning animated short films, series and video game trailers.

Now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Halfbrick, the PRA's mission is to bring the joy of Halfbrick games to an even wider audience by producing equally as fun entertainment.

We are currently developing episodic content based on Halfbrick's games including the hugely successful Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride as well as some other fun, original ideas currently in the works.

Animal Logic

Animal Logic is one of the world's most accomplished digital studios producing award winning, ground breaking and trail blazing animation, visual effects and design.

Established in 1991 when lunches were long and to buy a graphics computer meant to mortgage one’s house, Animal Logic has been at the forefront of digital content production.

From our humble beginnings as a 10 person enterprise to one of the world’s most prolific digital studios, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with some revolutionary directors and producers to create some spectacular and memorable imagery on our journey.

After our early success with leading advertising agencies and television commercial directors, we made the leap into feature films, getting a start on films such as Babe, Mouse Hunt, Face Off and The Matrix. Since then, we’ve continued to attract audiences with our visual effects and animation in films like Moulin Rouge, House of Flying Daggers, 300 and The Great Gatsby, and with our dancing animated penguins in Happy Feet and formidable fighting owls in Legend of the Guardians. It's safe to say we're pretty good at animating birds now!  Most recently Animal Logic Animation moved on to dinosaurs in Walking with Dinosaurs 3D and LEGO® minifigs in The LEGO® Movie!

In 2012 Fuel VFX, known for their work on Cowboys & Aliens, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Avengers and Prometheus became the newest member of the Animal Logic Family.

Since then, we've consolidated our VFX division to include Fuel VFX, and our new VFX division Animal Logic VFX incorporates the wealth of talent and creativity that is abundant in the two brands under one roof. With a combined talent pool and technical expertise, the future looks bright, and well, we're excited.

The Animal Logic VFX team recently completed work on The Great Gatsby, Iron Man 3, Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Rover, and is currently in production on Unbroken, due for release in 2014.

We also recently opened our Animal Logic Entertainment office in Los Angeles which is where our feature film development team is located. They're a creative and passionate bunch, focusing on developing an eclectic slate of feature films stamped with the visual and technical excellence that has become the hallmark of our work.
