Prana Studios is an artist-driven 3D animation and Visual Effects studio based in Los Angeles, USA with a wholly owned production facility in Mumbai, India. We are the quality leader in India and currently employ 400+ Computer Graphics Artists. Prana is managed by individuals who bring a unique mix of creative, technical, financial, and production talents to the company. Prana has a keen understanding of the “off-shore” production model and quality standards required to effectively compete in Western markets. Prana began its studio operations in India in April 2003 and it’s core business is focused on four main areas: Long-form CG content, location based entertainment, game cinematics, and feature film effects both for the international as well as domestic markets.
Recent projects include “Jason and the Argonauts” (MRC/NBC Studios), “Tinkerbell” (Walt Disney Studios), “Kutchie, Kutchie, Hota Hai” (Dharma Productions), “Unstable Fables” (The Weinstein Company/The Jim Henson Company), “The Chubb-Chubbs Save Christmas” (Sony Imageworks/Sony Pictures Animation) and “Hoodwinked” (The Weinstein Company), among others.
