With Frank Foster a veteran Computer animation and Digital Visual expert from Los Angeles, U.S.A (Founder of Sony Image works) heading the studio operations in Mumbai, India, and Steven B. Cohen a post production expert in Hollywood providing the marketing and technical support in Los Angeles, U.S.A, a seamless production pipe line and communication is available across opposite sides of the world.
MAYA was established in 1996 and has been a consistent leader in animation, visual effects and digital content production. Today, Maya is a recognized Media Entertainment brand.
The studio has made stereoscopic 3D a specialty and offers services for S3D visual effects, S3D CG rendered animation, left and right camera live action cinematography and very high quality, cost effective 2D to 3D conversion.
MAYA is known for its ability to adhere to high quality requirements of international clients and timely execution of services both of which are validated by our list of repeat clients. With a focus on high end work in the outsourced business segment, we cater to Film, Television, Games and Online media in a variety of visual styles that include cartoon shaded children’s programs to realistic game Cinematics. For these projects Maya has won international awards like – Silver Hugo (US) and Pulcinella (Italy) Awards. Nominations at BAFTA and IFTA.
The successful completion of its full length animated feature film IPR – Ramayana : The Epic, MAYA has demonstrated the capability of the studio to conceptualize, manage and produce complex feature length animation from start to finish for the international market, the first studio in India to do so.
